The National Council of Justice (CNJ), the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and the Secretariat for Access to Justice of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) will hold, on the 9th and 10th of October, the International Seminar on Evidence and Justice Criminal: New Horizons for Person Recognition. The event also has the support of the Secretariat for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights of the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship and the Innocence Project Brasil.

The Seminar will be held in person, in the STJ auditorium, and aims to deepen discussions about the challenges in qualifying criminal investigation and criminal evidence based on the issues brought to light by the recognition of people. In this sense, the Seminar takes as its starting point the legacy of the Personnel Recognition Working Group of the National Council of Justice and CNJ Resolution n. 484/2022, but seeks to advance dialogue and joint construction with other actors in the criminal justice system and society.
